Quite the flamboyant name, but I suppose that's fitting since it is in the village. As you walk in, the converted house is very dark and romantic.
I'm always a fan of an open kitchen. No double-dipping or boogers here!

Crispy Prawn Paella "Sushi" with Roasted Sweet Peppers Ok, so this is the quintessential "asian fusion dish". It was basically paella that tasted like risotto in a spring roll that the chef called sushi since it's wrapped. I'm still not sure it was successful. It was very dense and rich. I was getting full just off that spring roll/sushi/paella/risotto thing. The rare prawns and peppers were delicious though.

Baked Sweet Onion Bisque with Crab and Green Mango This was an amazing bisque. Again it was very rich and creamy. This was a fusion dish that really worked. I think I could drink this soup everyday.

Porcini Roasted Cornish Game Hen This was nicely roasted and very juicy, but under seasoned.

Tempura of Turbot with Lobster Hollandaise and Chips This was a very chic and very asian version of fish and chips. The turbot just melted in your mouth. It was perfectly cooked and the concept of lobster hollandaise is genius.

Blood Orange Sabayon and Grand Marnier Tartelette I'm not sure a sabayon was a good idea to put in this tarte because they are often very liquidly. When you add Grand Marnier this was definitely no exception. Despite the tarte oozing out everywhere it was a very yummy dessert. The fudge that came on the side was like heaven.
Overall it was a solid meal with great service. I was beyond stuffed!
