New generation is so popular that I can only eat there on off hours because I hate lining up at restaurants.
The chirashi had decent variety with fresh fish. It would be nice if they had a bit more diversity in the fishies.
These philly rolls had generous portions of smoked salmon as you can see in the picture. Often when I order philly rolls you don't get too much smoked salmon in the roll but these were delish!
Salmon Don! Just looking at the picture is making me drool. Very very fresh with tons of fish and it even had ikura. I couldn't even finish it since it had such generous fat juicy portions.
New generation has great value for money which explains why there are such massive lines everytime I pass it in the Annex during lunch and dinner times.
In other news I booked my tickets to Washington, Edmonton (taking the train to Calgary), Seattle (then busing to Vancouver), Kuala Lumpur (then driving to Singapore, Ipoh, Penang), and finally Phuket. I can't bloody wait! The great thing is that I will be staying with friends in Washington, Edmonton, Calgary and Seattle. In Malaysia I'll be staying with family so that should save me a lot of moola. I'll be travelling for two months. I hope I don't get too tired. It's been four years since I've been back home to Kuala Lumpur and I miss my family so much. Do write to me your restaurant suggestions please :)
